Hermès Birkin 40 Plomb Clemence Gold Hardware - 2017

Hermès does color like nobody else, but while they have produced over 40 shades of blue, their spectrum of "black" is much smaller, and finding a black Birkin that isn't just black is extremely difficult. The shade closest to black, and the perfect option for a black Birkin that has just a little something extra, a little something mysterious to it, is Plomb. Why does that black Birkin look so good? Because it's not black. Plomb translates to Lead in English, and Hermès has somehow managed to capture that faint luster, that hint of grayish-purple-green that you only notice for a second.
